Air Intake Pressure Sensor – BoschCRD Diagnostics.

The voltage will be proportionate to the boost pressure produced by the engines turbocharger.

The voltage at idle will be seen to rise as the pressure increases, reaching a maximum.

Technical Information

The sensor is connected into the inlet air supply and is of the conventional piezo-electric strain gauge variety.

The sensor will have three electrical connections of which:

Pin number 1 = voltage supply at 12 volts
Pin number 2 = earth circuit
Pin number 3 = variable output signal voltage

The pressure sensor will supply the ECM with a voltage that is proportionate to the pressure in the inlet manifold.
